Liz Zanca was born in 1993, in Reading, Pennsylvania. In 2015 she completed her B.F.A. in Studio Art from Louisiana Tech University. During Zanca's time at Tech her interest in sculpture and painting grew into a relief-styled work. She has hiked the Appalachian Trail in Virginia, explored Niagara Falls, scaled Pinnacle Mountain, Arkansas and camped all over the Northeast. Those places have strongly influenced her paintings.
Zanca's relief-style paintings are landscapes that capture moments of nature that are reminiscent of home. Her work has been recently featured at the Upstairs Gallery in Monroe, LA. She has also participated in the Masur Museum of Art's Off the Wall Annual Fundraisers and 6x6x2015 in Rochester, NY.
